Differences between MQL4 and MQL5: What Do You Need to Know?
Greetings, dear colleagues, traders and programmers!
Today will be our introductory lesson on the Metatrader 5 platform. We will consider the serious and not-so-different differences between MT4 (the MQL4 programming language) and MT5 (the MQL5 programming language) both in general and directly in programming in these languages. The video will be interesting primarily to those who have long wanted to try their hand at MQL5, but did not dare.
I want to note right away that MT4 will continue to work, in fact MT5 is just expanding the MetaQuotes product line and is not intended to replace MT4. A significant plus of the MT4 terminal is its gigantic database of codes and articles on various MQL4 websites. In addition, the potential of this platform allows you to expand further.
At the same time, the new opportunities provided by the MetaTrader 5 platform will only increase, and you can naturally master more and more new services of this terminal.
The Metatrader 5 platform is now not limited only to the forex market. It is possible to trade stocks, futures and other exchange instruments.
We will consider all this and much more in our video tutorial.
